Why Governance
Good governance is at the heart of any successful business.
It is essential for an organisation to achieve its objectives and drive improvement, as well as maintain legal and ethical standing in the eyes of shareholders, regulators and the wider community. Governance is especially important because E2 is developed using the public’s money. By using E2 a common playing field for all Authorities is created.
E2 Implementation
E2 is a cloud based application tool to assist authorities in collecting, sharing, and analysing their safety aviation information.
E2 is a product developed by the European Aviation Safety Agency, an Agency of the European Commission.
E2 is developed based on ADREP taxonomy and ICOA’s Annex 13 contents, therefore, since 2004 ICAO adopted ECCAIRS, which is now replaced by E2, to collect Accident and Serious Incident data.
E2 is the one-stop-shop for all safety aviation information including information that is part of the European Central Repository (ECR)
