The mission of ECCAIRS is to support digitally the occurrence reporting process (EU reg 376/2014) of collecting, sharing and allowing analysis of Safety Data.
Collect
Continuous collection of safety information in view for safety hazards to be identified, assessed and addressed.
Share
Member State safety information is integrated in the European Central Repository, in particular the European Central Repository for Occurrences.
Analyse
Continuous monitoring of Safety Risk Portfolios, development of studies and provision of reports concerning the safety of European and world-wide aviation.
Improve
Define Safety Actions, feeding e.g. the European Plan for Aviation Safety and the national State Safety Plans. Monitoring of the safety performance.
